Baby Shower Favors – Bunny in the House!

May 28th, 2010 | by Kacie |

These baby shower favors are a creative way of celebrating spring and a fun day at your baby shower. Giving out face towels or mini towels is nothing like the ordinary. The bunny favors give a whole new meaning to bath items.

Find out how you can transform simple items into special ones.

Materials:

  • Facial wash/body wash/lotion/body oil
  • Ribbon
  • Elastic band
  • Face cloth or hand cloth

Instructions

1. Roll the towel diagonally into the center. Either side is fine.

2. Fold the rolled length in half.

3. Halfway down this fold, place the elastic band around it to secure it in place. This rounded spot forms the bunny’s body.

4. The remaining loose ends form the ears. Fold the ear section back into the body, then forming the head.

5. Again, secure with an elastic band.

6. You can make the ears floppy or pointy, depending on how you fold it and back.

7. Beautify the bunny by tying the ribbon around the head.

8. You can add eyes by sticking two beads or wobbly eyes with a glue or double sided tape.

Towels in white, gray, and beige are top choices for these baby shower favors because these colors are most seen in real life bunnies. You party favors will look so cute and realistic!

As for the gift item to pair with the bunny favor, it is really up to you. You can replace bath items with other motifs. Some use a bag of ice cream, others a small jar of candies.

I personally like the idea of giving out a bottle of wine then accented with this towel bunny. A unique twist to wine gift giving.
