Celebrity Baby News – Amy Adams to Welcome First Baby this Spring

Amy Adams is due to become a mom for the first time this spring. The Oscar nominee actress, best acclaimed for her roles in Doubt and Julie & Julia is said to be due in April 2010. This celebrity baby news is buzzing louder and louder as the due date is getting nearer. Indeed, another gorgeous Hollywood mom to give birth to an undoubtedly super cutie Hollywood baby. 

Amy Adam’s representative confirmed this celebrity baby news on December 4 last year, expressing the joy and excitement of the expecting mom and her fiancé, actor Darren Le Gallo.

In an interview with Allure magazine early this year, the 35-year old actress said that she was not in a hurry to get married. She said that there was not even a set date. She felt like a “horrible fiancée” not getting swept up in the idea of a wedding.

Amy added, “I think he was patient for the first nine months, but now that we have been engaged for a year, he’s sort of, you know, ‘This is going to happen, right?’ He understands I’m busy, but he’s ready. He’s much more ready for kids and stuff than I am."

She was a picture of a glowing mother-to-be in a fashionably short, cute dress clearly showing her big baby bump as she arrived at her baby shower in Brentwood, California. The dad-to-be, Darren also joined in the celebration.

She shared with ET her eagerness to find out the sex of the baby. “I thought about waiting but that is not my personality,” Amy said. “I am impatient. It is not about planning a nursery, it is more about I want to know. I want to relate in that way.”
