  4. Spread the mixture on the slices of bread.
If you want a traditional style tea sandwiches, make the sandwiches small by cutting them into four squares or triangles. Remove the crusts before cutting them and have the bread thin-sliced.

Soft cream or cheese is an essential tea sandwich ingredient to prevent them from getting soggy. The pepper will give this baby shower recipe a different flavor unlike the usual sweet taste of sandwiches.

For a creative twist, use a variation of bread. Have some slices in white, others in wheat, and the rest in rye, sourdough, etc. For more originality, pair a white and wheat bread together. Use one slice of each.

What’s an afternoon tea party with sandwiches and all as baby shower recipes without tea? You can serve hot or cold, or both in an assortment of flavors to make the menu more flavorful. Some ideas of tea flavor for a baby shower are chamomile, jasmine, oolong, and the perennial green tea. Just fantastic!

A spring theme will be a blast with colorful or floral-designed wares. Cups, saucers, and plates looking as bright as the season are just awesome to look at, especially for an outdoor setting such as the garden, gazebo or patio. Finally, to top off the spring party’s baby shower recipes, don’t forget to serve some lemonade. Giggling, talking, and laughing can make excited women really, really thirsty.
