Celine Dion finds herself pregnant for the second time at the age of 41. A family member released the news to PEOPLE recently, and a rep for Celine confirmed the news to many outlets saying, “Celine and Rene are very happy. They are crazy in love over the news . . . they are overjoyed.”
Dion and her husband, Rene Angelil, 67, conceived their 8 year old son, Rene-Charles with the help of Manhattan-based fertility experts.
The couple returned to the same New York fertility doctors for their chance at a second child and have succeeded.
Celine was very open about wanting more children in the media. She ended her concert tour in March and began concentrating on becoming a mother again.
According to interviews with Angelil through the Journal there are reports that Dion’s future hinges on the pregnancy in terms of professional plans. This could ultimately delay her return to the stage in Las Vegas for the fall of 2010.
