Celebrity Baby News - Celebrity Baby Names
July 8th, 2009 | by Kacie |
Michael Jackson has been in the news and the topic of conversation so much I feel like I eat, sleep and breath Michael lately. You can’t turn on a radio station of any kind without hearing a Jackson song. My interest lie in his children . . . and how they will be.
They are the ones really left behind right now. Michael did a very good job of keeping them out of the media for so long. It is only now . . . I am becoming more familiar with these children, and their outrageous names.
This brought a funny topic to mind . . . celebrity baby names. Is it a publicity stunt to name your child the most ridiculous name that come to mind? Is there a hidden meaning behind the name that has some sentential value?
Just enjoyed the Ice Age movie with our daughter . . . when the new baby Mammoth was named "Peaches". If I heard that out of a celebrity . . . similar to Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin daughter’s name "Apple" . . . it would sound pretty weird. Maybe . . .she ate a lot of apples during her pregnancy. Who knows?
As you take the adventure of naming your child here are what the general public have continually voted as the most weird celebrity names:

- Jermaine Jackson named his child Jermajesty. Clearly Michael was not the only Jackson who chose strange names for their children.
Steven Speilberg named his child Destry. Some think it is a feminine version from a GI Joe character.

Nicholas Cage apparently enjoys comics. He changed his last name Coppola to Cage in honor of a Marvel character "Luke Cage". His child is named Kal-El supposedly after Superman.
Jason Lee, famous for his role on "My Name is Earl" . . . classy show. Jason named his child Pilot Inspektor. He likes the band Grandaddy who has a son called "He’s Simple, He’s Dumb, He’s a Pilot". Sounds like there is big hopes for that child.

Sylvestor Stallone named his beloved-child Sage Moonblood. It sounds as though Stallone may have been a little influenced by his movies.

Bono named his child Memphis Eve. Not sure if this sounds like a time or place.

David Duchovny and Tea Leoni named their child Kyd . . . that’s original. I have heard of people naming their cat "C-A-T" or their dog "D-O-G" . . . so this must be normal.

Frank Zappa takes the cake on strange names . . . naming his children Moon Unit, Diva Thin Muffin, Ahmet, and Dweezil. Wonder how many times these children are going to have to repeat their name for people?
Angelia Jolie and Brad Pitt top the chart with the weird baby names . . . they had six chances to get it right and here is what they came up with . . . Maddox Chivan, Pax Thien, Zahar Marley, Shiloh Nouvel, and their most recent twins . . . Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. Of course they take on the additional two last names two Jolie-Pitt.

It has become popular to name after food too. Gwyneth Paltrow and
Chris Martin named their daughter Apple. Courtney Cox and David Arquette named their daughter Coco.

Penn Jilette named his child Moxie Crimefighter. That is an interesting name to live up to.
It was so hilarious to hit the spell checker on this article. It went nuts!!!!
