Kacie has a beach home and we have a lake home. When you own waterfront property, you automatically are the designated party house.
In my Georgia Tech college days, I used to make everything for parties from scratch including hand churning ice cream. My parties were always a hit but it would take me days to prepare.
Now that I am older and wiser, I can throw a great party with practically no notice. Trader Joe’s is 5 minutes away. It is my all time favorite grocery store.
Trader Joe’s has a cult-like following for good reason. Their food is focused on quick, healthy, inexpensive meals.
Talk about customer loyalty . . . customers have been known to drive hundreds of miles to stock up on their Trader Joe’s favorites including their famous Two Buck Chuck wine. Every store would love to have such avid customers.
If you are stumped for what to serve at your next party, just find the nearest Trader Joe’s employee and they will give you menus and recipes. I have never met a friendlier group of employees.
When I hosted a baby shower for 40 guests a few months ago, I went shopping in the morning and started heating the food an hour before everyone arrived. Nothing could have been more simple.
Here are a few suggestions to get you started:

Hey guys if you’re looking for an awesome gift for someone. Look no further! Check out the website http://www.cakeandaprayer.com. I gave my aunt a cake and a prayer for her baby shower and she was blown away by it. The great thing about the gift was that the website had pre-written gift messages. I was surprised at the quality of the gift and the price. It included the gift card, cake (which was so good we all wanted more) and a framed scripture with my name signed on the bottom. Trust me you will not be disappointed! I used this discount code (GB080108) and got $10 off, try it!
