Jamie Lynn Spears officially brought a new little girl into the world named “Maddie Briann” yesterday June 19, 2008. Everyone has been reported as being happy and healthy. Yippy!

You know what I LOVE about the Spears sisters . . . they’re human! There has been all this coverage about Jamie celebrating her birthday at Wal-mart and Ruby Tuesdays. Where did you celebrate your 17th birthday? I was at Olive Garden, and after all everyone needs stuff at Wal-mart birthday or not. I like Target a bit better in my older days now, but back then Wal-mart would have done just fine!

And let’s all give props to Brittney. She was there for every second her sister needed her. We all love to create a scenerio that she is not even stable enough to show up in court, but the truth be known we have no idea the real details that are unfolding. When it came time, when it really mattered she was there to support the sister she loves. Brittney has always expressed the deep love for her sister and having two sisters of my own, it’s awesome she has been so supportive in a difficult situation.

Just finished watching the movie everyone seems to be talking about “Juno”, which approaches teen pregnancy, and the bravery it takes to get through it. I loved it! So artistic too! Society loves to focus on our celebrities and all their flaws. Is it that we like to distract ourselves with others problems just to get away from our own?

I view the Spear sisters as two hard working girls just trying to make it through life. They may not always handle a situation with grace, but where is the handbook?
