Choosing a baby shower gift that the new mom-to-be will enjoy and treasure can be very easy! By following these 3 easy steps you are sure to show your love and have the perfect gift!

First ask the hostess 5 easy questions when you RSVP:

• Where is the new mommy and daddy-to-be registered?

• What is the sex of the baby?

• What is the decor of the nursery?

• What sports team or hobby do the new parents-to-be enjoy?

• Do the new parents have any certain needs for the baby?

Second, narrow your search. Here is what those five questions with tell you:

• Registered gifts are often not memorable gifts. Unless it involves childhood memories of the new mom or dad, for example, a toy that they may have had or a rocking chair like their grandma, or the cool electronic the new daddy is excited about.

• To find out the sex of the baby can be the perfect clue to a perfect gift. If the new mommy and daddy were hoping for a boy, anything blue will capture the heart of the new parents. If a baby girl is to be expected everything pink and girly will be adored and loved! Something that can capture the girl or boy attributes along with a combo of keepsake or uniqueness with be the talk of the baby shower!

The next three answers are simple equations:

• Décor = small piece of furniture that enhances the theme the parents have chosen
Keepsake blanket that would be a nice addition to the crib,
A footprint kit keepsake that could be hung on any wall

• Sports team or hobby = anything miniature that has to do with their interests
