Tip #1: GET THE CROWD MIXING: Introduce each guest to three to other guests, or include a game that will cause guests to start talking to each other.

Tip #2: ROUND: I always use round tables to seat guests. It makes conversation especially easy. Use rectagular tables for serving or gifts. Round tables make for better presentation!

Tip #3: GET THE FOOD FLOWING: Guests love to munch!!! The moment guests arrive give them a reason to gather! Set appetizers out for them to mingle!

Tip #4: MANAGE GUESTS: Consider all parties that will arrive, neighbors, family, friends, co-workers, etc. What would make you comfortable if you were them?

Tip #5: GOOD WELCOME: Allow the guests to arrive to something special . . . you can serve a drink (virgin if you like) which will make guests feel festive as they arrive, or welcoming gifts that compliment the theme of your party.
