Baby Shower Games - Silly Advice

Sometimes when you are celebrating a baby shower you are gathering people from different families, co-workers, neighbors, and friends.  The mixture of all these different social groups can be difficult to accommodate all the different personalities. 

 

This baby shower game is great because it will make everyone laugh!  It is called Silly Advice.

 

What you need:

• Two small pieces of paper for each guest

• Writing utensils for each guest

 

This is good, silly fun.  Here is how it works:
 
Give each guest 2 pieces of paper. On one piece, have them write a problem the new parents might have with their child.

 

On the other piece, they write the solution. Then have them pass the problem paper two people to the right, and their solution paper one person to the left. Have each guest now read the problem and solution papers they are now holding.

 

Sometimes this can be pretty funny. You’ll get pairings like:

• Problem: “Baby is hungry all night long.”
  Solution: “Put on lots of Vaseline”
• Problem: “Baby screams at the slightest sounds.”
  Solution: “Sing lullabies until she falls asleep.”

 

This game is great because it does not take much preparation.  It is great as an ice breaker to get people talking.  Create your own version and share it with us.
