Baby blocks are the classic traditional baby toy. We all had them . .
Now, as the centerpiece of your baby shower enjoy the tradition, simply!
Need:
- 2 boxes of your favorite cake mix with all needed ingredients
- 2 tubs of your favorite icing
- 2 tubes of colored icing of your choice
- 1 tube of thin icing to draw lettering
- Long Serving Platter
Step 1: Make your favorite kind of cake, be it lemon, chocalote, or carrot cake. Bake it in two 8 inch square pans. Allow to cool.
Step 2: Place chosen icing on top of first layer. Place second layer of cake on top. Cut in half. Cut in half again, to equal four even squares (like 4 baby blocks).
Step 3: Spread chosen icing on all sizes of the four blocks. TIP: You may want to have on your serving platter when you do this.
Step 4: Pipe on your colored icing on all four sides. then pipe on your “B”, “A”, “B”, “Y”.
Extras: You can place little accessories such as a pacifier, are rattles on the top of your baby blocks. This is a really fun treat to make for your guests!
